Rosewood Cardtable - Circa 1850 - Victorian. This beautiful Victorian Rosewood card table has a rectangular top with rounded corners above a deep rounded apron frieze. The top swivels revealing a games compartment, opens to double in size and has a green baise interior. The piece stands on a tapering octagonal pedestal with a quadriform shaped base, Claw feet and original brass castors. The piece is a rich red Rosewood colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
