This Gentlemans Travelling Casket was made in France in 1840 as a Wedding Present for someone really really important. It is a Superb piece of French construction and is a masterclass in Box making. The Box is made from the finest Rosewood and inlaid profusely with Brass, Mother of Pearl and Abalone Shell. The Initials on this Box were obviously intended for the Wedding of someone important in France in 1840. The Initials 'DT' are of course also the initials of someone very important running for President !!! - Mr.Donald Trump !! .
