A Very Fine Hand Carved Irish Bog Oak Walking Stick of outstanding quality decorated with typical relief-carved decoration of Ferns, an Irish Harp and entwined Shamrocks. The plain horizontal tau shaped grip above a silver collar modelled as a tied buckle belt. Complete with original metal brass ferrule which is worn. Mark of AC for Arthur Cook, Carver Street, Birmingham assay mark for 1900. Condition: Good condition with nice patination on wood. Few tiny dents on handle.
