This is a rare Piece of Furniture. Library Chart/Map Cabinet in stunning Burl Walnut, dating to Circa 1870, complete with original carrying handles and in great condition. The Cabinet is constructed to look like a normal side cabinet but each side door opens on the horizontal to enable easy storage of large charts or maps. There is nice provenance on this one and it resided in an impressive library. The piece is heavy and very solid raised on scrolled bun feet.
