Pair of English Frederick Adams Copeland Porcelain Hand Painted Two Handled Mantle Vases of Museum quality of campana form, ending on exquisitely decorated raised gilt circular bases. Circa 1895-1905.
Each central reserve exquisitely hand painted by Adams depicting Summer Flowers and Fruits within an elaborate gilt surround, above a circular support with foliate gilding on a pale green ground. The treble scrolling twin handles with lavish gilding
Height: (entire) 6” (15cm). Width: (across handles) 5.25” (13m). Depth: (at top rims) 4” (10.25cm).
Condition: Good untouched condition with no evidence of any restoration, no wear to gilding at high points, possibly never used. The quality of gilding allover is exceptional. Signed lower right F.ADAMS. Back and front views are similar. Marked underneath COPELAND.
