195 Antique Pair of Sèvres Porcelain Watteau Scene Gilt Bronze Landscape Urns Vases

Pair French Sevres Soft Paste Hand Decorated Pompadour Pink Porcelain and Ormolu Twin Scroll Handle Table or Mantle Urns of traditional form and of outstanding quality, made during the last half of the Nineteenth Century. 

Each urn of ovoid outline exquisitely hand painted with views of a seated romantic couple in landscape wearing traditional Eighteenth Costumes, above a square base with an inset of a painted porcelain plaque flanked by twin figures, all ending on an extremely elaborately cast ormolu base, raised on scroll and toupie feet. Condition: Good condition for such early pieces with no losses to porcelain, bronze mounts have been professionally re-gold plated.
