This Oil on Board Painting by Mark Eldred is of 'Montbretia and Purple Loostrife Reflections' near Castlegregory on the Dingle Peninsula Co Kerry and is a beautiful and typical interpretation by Mark of one of Ireland's mosy stunning landscapes. Mark is famed for his dynamic oil paintings and this one is no exception with a luxurious carpets of flowers. Mark was born in Hong Kong but eventually fell in love with the West of Ireland after spending some time in the Uk where he attended Goldsmiths Art College. There is a wonderful depth and texture to Mark's paintings and with Summer here it is lovely to have this vibrant and delightful scene at my Gallery.
