Pair of very large Coloured Prints of the famed John Parrish paintings of Spirit 1 Spirit 2. These are framed in excellent quality gilt frames and are of a very large size. The Paintings by John Parrish depict the Power of the equine and mans struggle to control. Horse Power has long influenced Artists such as Coustou (France) (1677-1746) best known for his monumental statues of horses made for the Château de Marly, whose replicas now stand in the Place de la Concorde in Paris. Géricault's 'Charging Chasseur' from 1812 and Rosa Bonheur's 'Horse Fair' from 1853.
