The hinged lid lavishly decorated in Boulle Marquetry inlays and a vacant central cartouche, the drop-down front with similar decoration.
Firmly attributed although not marked to world famous English Jewlery and Leather goods manufacturers J.C. Vickery, Regent Street, London, since 1891.
Condition: Superb untouched condition, possibly never used, professionally re-lined interior and base underneath, complete with tasseled key and original working lock.
