Julian Friers is a wildlife painter born in Bangor, Northern Ireland in 1956. These humourous and fun paintings will bring a smile to all that view and are unusual for Friers. Friers was educated at the Belfast College of Art and then to earn a living, he became a professional wildlife painter. His first solo exhibition was held in 1977. In 2009, Friers was appointed President of the Royal Ulster Academy. Today, we can see his works through collections in Germany, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and the USA. Friers Paintings re very sought after and can achieve very high prices. He is famous for his pintings of Birds especially birds of prey. The Birds in these paintings fell prey to the drink at the party !
