118 Sold The Royal Arms Silver Ingot Collection - Danbury Mint - 1977

This Magnificent set marks the Silver Jubilee (1952-77) of Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth Realms. The set includes 12 silver shield ingots that represent the Royal Arms throughout the ages of the British monarchy. With designs originating from the years 1195, when Richard I of England was on the throne, to 1977 during Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. Each ingot is minted in Sterling Silver (925.0) and comes with informative postcards for each era, including details of major events that took place during each period and colourfully depicting the various badges of the Royal Arms. Minted by the Danbury Mint and hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office, these ingots are displayed in their custom-made original Teak box. This set is rich in history and celebrates a wonderful milestone, making it perfect for collectors who wish to remember such an occasion and indeed very appropriate for collectors right now.
