Fine quality English early Victorian Period well figured walnut and ebony Fold-over Card Table, firmly attributed to Gillows of Lancaster and London. Third quarter of the Nineteenth Century.
The hinged fold-over rectangular top with very unusual rounded frontal corners opening to reveal a green baize playing card surface. The front apron with boxwood string inlays, raised on tapering fluted legs with stylish ring turnings, complete with original castors.
Condition: Superb untouched condition with no imperfections
