Well Figured Irish Mahogany Side Cabinet by Williams and Gibton of Dublin. This beautiful piece of stamped and numbered Irish furniture dates to Circa 1820. The rectangular Mahogany top with twin panelled doors enclosing a shelved interior, flanked by twin columns with carved detail. The quality of the Mahogany is very apparent on this piece with the wonderful flame mahogany which is sourced near the base of the tree used on the doors and creating a wonderful visual impact. The original working locks are present. The Cabinet just needed some light restoring from our Master Craftmen with a wax finish returning the glorious Patina back to the original Georgian condition. This is a superb piece of Irish History and a lucky find for my Gallery
