This is a superb Twin Door Cabinet in Mahogany and Rosewood. The Nelson Rope detail would suggest an Irish piece possibly Cork. The Cabinet has panel doors and a single shelf. It is quite an elegant piece and apart from its beautiful construction it is a utilitarian piece of furniture. This Cabinet was lightly cleaned and hand polished by our Master Restorers (Lancaster Antiques) who lovingly and expertly bought back to life the rich patina which 200 years of use and sunlight had diminished.
