This is a Superb 19th Century French Bronze after the Ancient Roman Sculpture - Girl Playing Knucklebones.  The original Hellenistic creation was often copied in Roman Art. The Robe slipping from the shoulder is an iconographic formula indicating Aphrodite. This is a Rare Bronze after the original in The Museum of Berlin. The Statue is a beautiful Item with a Serenity that would add a calm and classical atmosphere to any room.
