This is and English Mahogany Batchelors Chest dating to Circa 1880. It is in lovely condition and I had it hand waxed which enhanced the lovely patina and it really looks well. The split top opens forward to allow for writing or ironing and is supported on twin supports. There are 4 graduated drawes and all raised on Bracket feet. This piece is a lovely size and would fit comfortably into most interior design settings.
