It is named after an abbot, Muiredach mac Domhnaill, who died in 923 (yes over 1000 years ago) and features Biblical carvings of both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. This Piece of Irish History with Monastic detail is raised on a plinth with Etched detail describing the Cross. The Piece has The Cornelius Goggin Stamp on the Base and i have included a picture of the actual Cross for comparison.
