Museum Quality. The Box although not stamped has the hallmarks of one of the top makers in Paris - Possibly Tahan. Lets Start with the Woods used in the Superb French Creation - Rosewood is the dominant wood with Brass. Tortoiseshell and Lapis Lazuli inlay. The Box is mounted with Brass, inlayed with Brass, Abalone Shell and raised on 4 Brass feet. The Top opens to reveal a fitted interior with large storage area. It is very easy to run out of Superlatives with this Box which would make a superb Gift for someone with very special items to store.
