This rare antique 19th century Royal Worcester parian hand vase designed by <strong>James Hadley</strong> is in good condition. The hand was modelled on the hand of Hadley's wife so hence the name. Her hand is supporting a Grecian urn which is <strong>hand painted</strong>. The interior of the vase has a glazed finish. Marked with an impressed crown and wheel mark for Royal Worcester to the base and a an English diamond registration mark with an N at the top for 1864. This is believed to be an early example of this rare and hard to find vase and the hand painted urn is superbly done.
