The Coat of Arms on the lid is really what sets this Antique apart as regards rarity. The solid <strong>Silver Coat of Arms on the Lid is that of The Portugeuse Monarch</strong>. The 'Quinas' with the seven Castle surrond is of The <strong>Brigantine Dynasty</strong>. The Coat of Arms with the seven castles was introduced during the reign of Sebastian l (late 16th century). The Silver dates to Circa 1820 and The Snuff box was made much later.
