From Leonardo DaVinci’s first scientific studies of flight to the exploration of space, encompassing all forms of aircraft. Each medal features a fine image of one of the fifty significant events in the history of manned flights with details engraved to reverse. All are hallmarked for sterling silver, London with a makers mark of ‘JP’ for John Pinches and all bear the number 0382 which is the number of this set from the limited issue. They are dated to 1972 with the silver assay mark for this year.</span></span></span> <span style="color: #333333;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Each medal is housed in its own capsule and presented in an album.
