The charming antique features an ebonized double inkwell, retaining the original fitted pair of square crystal cut crystal ink wells with brass hinged lids, resting in two velvet lined bases. The concave pen tray makes for easy writing instrument storage, surrounded and supported by a curvaceous undulating scalloped base. The condition is very good for Pappier Mache with only a few small losses which are not noticable and although there is some crackling , there are no losses.
