These lamps which are so typical for the period are known as Skyscraper design and are definitely by one of the top designers of the day. They scream <strong>Paris and&nbsp;"Arts D&eacute;coratifs"</strong>, the mid-1920s&nbsp;Parisian style of design with its drastic range of influences including Ancient Egyptian, Cubism, Mayan art, and even Louis XVI-style furniture, the only real commonality seems to be&nbsp;a sleek modern&nbsp;twist that we can't get enough of. I located this Pair here in Dublin and they have a wonderful provenance. The Columns are mirrored , bevelled and have a delicate leaf pattern design with a nod to the Egyptian Vector Pattern.
