The Condition is very good with no losses and wear consistent with age. The polychrome and Gilt is still vibrant and the sculpture is&nbsp;similar to compositions from the Salzburg area dating to the late 15th century.&nbsp;There is a striking parallel for the Virgin's youthful and pointed facial features, with a downcast gaze and subtle smile, as seen in a Madonna from St Johann in den Tauern, now in the Liebieghaus, Frankfurt.
