They were made circa <strong>1890</strong> in<strong> Germany</strong> and are for Beer. They are in <strong>Blue Stoneware</strong> and bearing in mind that Stoneware tends to be brittle ... they are in fair condition. There are a few small chips and a very very old repair to one of the hats/lids. Made in the form of two rotund bearded men who may have just drank too much beer!. They are in my Gallery window and are in their own way quite pretty and curious items. There is a factory mark but i m afraid I don't know it so if you know more ... email me ...
