Superb Example of Miniature Oil Painting on Canvas, in our opinion painted during the mid Nineteenth Century and of Italian origin.
A blind bearded Begging Man standing outside a Church and a pretty young lady seems to be protecting him, his right hand holding a Rosary Beads and a Hat. The interior depicts a figure kneeling in front of a Crucifix.
Condition: Good condition, recently professionally cleaned. Original high quality giltwood frame has been re-gilt. No signature visible.
