Description
Pair of English Royal Worcester Hand Painted Standing Figures by James Hadley, decorated in pastel colours with gilt highlights, last quarter of the Nineteenth Century.
Superbly modelled as a man sharpening his scythe and a woman carrying a basket of eggs, each leaning against a tree stump and raised on a naturalistic rockwork base.
Condition: Good condition with no restoration. Both signed HADLEY with marks painted and incised to bases, numbered 1292 and 1293, also registration numbers 109821.
