204 Pair French Regency Style Giallo Sienna Marble Gilt Bronze Cassolettes Urns Vases

Pair of French Ormolu mounted well veined Sienna Marble Twin Handle Grand Tour Style Urns or Cassolettes of museum quality. Mid to late Nineteenth Century. Each exquisitely surmounted by a bronze mount finely cast depicting children at play below a decorative ormolu mount and a floral finial. The main ovoid formed body ending an acanthus leaf circular base above a turned socle with beaded surround and plain square marble base. Back and front views are similar. Condition: Good condition for such early pieces with no losses, ormolu mounts have been professionally re-gold plated.
