Pair Traditional Japanese Imari circular form hand painted Porcelain Vases of quite generous proportions, now converted to a Pair of Electric Table Lamps. First half of the Nineteenth Century. The main outer waisted porcelain ribbed body with stylish flared rims and ovoid tapering form, glazed surface detail and all over typical decorative Imari palette in colours of iron red and cobalt blue tones on an off-white ground, later mounted on plain circular heavy gauge ormolu bases.  Condition: Superb condition with no losses.  These pieces are typically unmarked. Back and front views are similar.
