English Porcelain Flower Vase modelled as an Indian Elephant, decorated in colours with elegant gilt highlights and carrying a Hathi Howdah (a carriage or seat on its back) with Arabic decoration and canted corners resting on a tasseled pillow. Designed by James Hadley for Royal Worcester exclusively for Tiffany & Company New York. Last half of the Nineteenth Century. Puce factory marks with lozenge reg mark. Condition: Good untouched condition with no wear to colours and no losses to body, nice clear markings
