351 Antique Pair English Staffordshire Porcelain Table Lamps Ridgway or Rockingham

 Fine Pair of English Staffordshire Porcelain Mantle Vases now converted to electric Table Lamps of medium proportions Circa 1860. Of Traditional bulbous outline with a central reserve hand painted with old fashioned Summer flowers and roses on an emerald green ground. The entwined and scrolling twin handles applied to shoulders of main body. Condition: Superb condition, except for wear to gilding in porcelain at high points especially on handles, see image, the ormolu bases have been professionally re-gold plated. Professionally re-wired using three strand electric cable. Back views are decorated with unusual bows and scrolling details.
