Stunning Pair  French Sevres Soft Paste Porcelain and Ormolu Twin Handle Table or Mantle Urns of traditional form and of outstanding quality, and good size proportions, each raised on a square stepped base with canted corners. 

The twin handles exquisitely modelled as elegant faces. The central front jewelled  reserve depicting a Courting Couple in Eighteenth Century dress in landscape, back view with still life scene of Summer Flowers on a rich cobalt blue ground.  

Second quarter of the Nineteenth Century.  

Condition: Good condition for such early pieces with no losses to porcelain, bronze mounts have been professionally re-gold plated.
