594 Very Rare – Coty France – Rene Lalique Perfume Bottle with Original Contents Circa 1925

This is a rare find – This original Coty of France Perfume bottle designed by Rene Lalique Circa 1925 with original contents, Emeraude de Coty. Rene Lalique designed the bottle as Coty was one of the first to understand the importance of fragrance packaging, and more specifically a beautiful bottle .. “A perfume is seen as much as it is smelled”, he said. This Bottle is still sealed and in original box. You can get the beautiful aroma of this perfume (although sealed) 100 years on and it is a beautiful smell. To find something like this is a joy and some famous people were renowned for using this perfume – Marilyn Munroe in the 1940s and 50’s loved it. Coty was founded as a fragrance house in Paris, France by Joseph Marie François Spoturno – The fragrance was called after his Mum’s maiden name ‘Coti’ – he changed the ‘i’ to a ‘y’. The Bottle is signed by Lalique and Stamped Coty France.
