Beautiful and stylish high-quality pair of antique English Sterling Silver heavy gauge Georgian period candlesticks. With shaped hexagonal bases with shell corners, waisted columns with lower knops and shell shoulders, spools shaped sockets with unmarked nozzles. Each candlestick having its original lift out firm fitting sconce or nozzle of hexagonal outline. Mark of W C for William Cafe London Assayed in London 1757. Condition: Good condition for such early items, no wear to silvering anywhere, possibly were seldom in use.
