665 Antique English Coalbrookdale Flower encrusted Porcelain Inkwell Centerpiece 1820

Rare English Porcelain Hand Painted Porcelain flower encrusted Inkstand or Centrepiece, allthough unmarked this piece was made by Coalbrookdale, many if their pieces were unmarked. Retailed by Christopher Sykes Antiques in Bedfordshire, England. First quarter of the Nineteenth Century, circa 1820. Features lavish floral encrustations, a Deer head and a lidded pot consistent with period gardenesque or rococo revival design. Condition: Offered in “Country House” condition, several high point leaves with losses, the pot lid has been re-stuck which is visible inside hairline cracks underneath. Priced accordingly.
