Superb Pair of French Sevres Soft Paste Porcelain and Ormolu Twin Handle Electric Table Lamps of traditional bulbous form, and of good size proportions, raised on a very ornate dome shaped circular base on a plain square support with canted corners. Mid Nineteenth Century
The hand painted central reserves depicting a seated Courting Couple in landscape wearing Eighteenth Century dress, back view with still life of exotic flowers and fruits within gilt detail on a rich cobalt blue ground.
Condition: Good condition with no losses to porcelain, no gilding wear within porcelain areas. Bronze mounts have been professionally re-gold plated. Professionally re-wired for electricity.
