772 Antique Vintage Ladys Ormolu Bronze Dore German Jewelery Box Casket Art Nouveau

Beautiful quality Art Nouveau Gilt Metal Jewelry Casket, made in Germany in c. 1900, firmly attributed to renowned maker Erhard & Sohne. The highly elaborate gilt metal case is emblazoned with intricate floral designs on all four sides. The casket is heavy and of a larger size than similar examples. The body of the casket is raised on bracket feet. The interior is lined with its original red velvet, perfect as a miniature treasure trove. Condition: Good condition with nice surface patination, lock is present lacking key, nice clean interior condition possibly never used. Back and front views are similar.    

Width (at base, an impressive) 6.25″ (16cm). Depth (at base) 3.5” (8.5cm). Height (entire closed) 3.75″ (9.5cm).
