Description

Irish Killarney Ware Arbutus Ladies or Gentleman’s Jewellery Casket or Table Box of outstanding quality. 

Mid to late Nineteenth Century. The square form thumb molded hinged cover with a central rectangular vacant reserve with barber pole inlaid surround and scrolling leaves border, inside is a similar view.   

Condition: This piece has been professionally re-polished, original firm hinges, lock and original key are present but key does not activate the lock. The interior has been re-lined and the underneath also. 

Width: 9.75" (25cm). Depth: 10" (25.5cm). Height: 4" (10.25cm).
