This is an early Mahogany Tantalus dating to Circa 1810 – English. It is in good condition. The Tantalus contain the original gilt painted 4 decanters with rare star stoppers. The condition of all decanters is good with no major chips which is surprising for a set which is over 200 years old. The Brass Mounts are also present ad i was delighted to locate this early piece in such good condition.
