This is a superb sculpture of a Family of Elephants which was hand carved in Japan Circa 1880. The quality of workmanship is excellent and bar a few minor repairs the condition is excellent. The rich 140 year old patina gives a great realistic finish on the elephants and this makes for a striking view in my Gallery.
